And that just how can we understand that something has just come up, whether it is intergenerational or not? If we're not connected in with our bodies and we're not symbolized in the minute, just how would we even know? Like, going back to the very beginning, we can be in injury and we don't also know that we remain in injury.
And so now we can begin to be curious about hi. If I do that five factor check in every day and after that I can go, I observe that I have a tendency in the direction of feeling kind of foggy in the early morning.
What is that? What is that protecting me from? Where did that come from? When did I first start feeling in this way? Or that's the energetic domain. If we're searching in the somatic or the physical domain, maybe it's this sort of persistent tightening around my diaphragm and being interested concerning that holding.
These usual areas. Or maybe it's the propensity to hold my breath. Well, when did I begin holding my breath? Where is that? For me, in EMDR, we describe this as a FloatBack procedure where we're type of adhering to the symptom back to its origin. Yeah. Beautiful. Arielle as we start to make our means towards a final thought in our conversation, I simply intend to circle back around to we have actually discussed numerous different things, although they're also interconnected.
I think that perhaps the huge takeaway that I would certainly such as around us, around this, is that the story doesn't have to end right here. Like with any kind of trauma tale, we obtain to be an energetic individual in forming what is the end of the tale.
And I love this concept that not just do we have what we can speak about as transgenerational injury, but we also have intergenerational durability and that we can be component of enhancing that durability tale. And I assume that's a great deal of what we're mentioning today yes. That there's another opportunity there.
The tale gets to proceed on. Stunning. Yeah. And I don't think that we settle that tale just by caring it for our household or ancestors. There is a method in which, when we are prepared to feel and fix and recover, it is a gift that goes in both generational instructions.
Recognizing that we're all interconnected, I think that's a lovely, beautiful picture and an attractive idea that we are connected in both directions. One of the authors that writes on this technique of growing transgenerational strength, he explains the significance of developing generational empathy. And we can do this with our youngsters also, but we begin with ourselves.
Well, given that I understand there's audiences that are thinking, all right, well, I don't want this discussion to end, where can I continue the conversation with Arielle? Where can they so, you know, perhaps the top place that I'll state is go find the YouTube channel. I have a YouTube network that has more than 100 video clips on it, a few of which are type of short injury talks, and several of them are extremely long yoga classes, 90 minutes courses, and just peruse and take pleasure in.
And that's Dr. Arielle Schwartz on YouTube. You can locate lots of my writings in my publications, in my blog site, and that's at Dr. Arielle and on Facebook at Dr. Arielle Schwartz.
And it's a benefit to understand you. Thanks. All right. Listeners, thank you when again for tuning in and joining us. And I state this every solitary time, however deal with yourselves. You are the most vital toy because game room, so often tend to your hearts and be well.
